Disneyland's Lost and Found Department picks up strange items
What's lost is found, and at Disneyland, it can be something pretty unusual. Up to 40,000 hats and 20,000 glasses are recovered annually. Passports, a glass eye, and a toilet seat are among the other things found.
200,000 items are turned in each year at Disneyland's Lost and Found. Most of the goods are returned to their rightful owners.
About 70 percent of lost items are returned to their owners within a day, according to Disneyland.
Park officials said 70 percent of the found articles are returned within one day.
That can't be said for the toilet seat and a leg cast, though. Those are still sitting in the park's storage room for lost and found objects.
